Epic Day Scrapbook Layout

Epic Day Designer Series Paper has been out since September, but it has taken me until now to buy a pack. I'm not sure why but I'm glad I finally have.  I have created two layouts now with it and I'm really happy with both of them, yet they are both really quite different.

Here is the first layout I have created. I have a few (well 100's) of cricket photos to scrap, so I think I'm going to use this layout for my son's album. His baggy cap is green and gold, so I think the papers will match and add some vibrancy to the rest of his white garb. ;)

Merry Christmas!

This year I made a Santa Sleigh layout as my Christmas gift to my lovely scrapping ladies. Here it is, using the Top Note die to make the sleigh out of Stampin' Up! glitter red paper. The stars are punched out of Stampin' Up! silver glitter paper and my new Chevron punch made a small debut as well.

Hope you like! And of course, Merry Christmas!

Birthday Basics DSP = A Perfect Layout For An 8 Year Old's Birthday

As always I had HEAPS of photos to scrap for my daughter's 8th birthday and the new Birthday Basics DSP was the perfect paper to suit the theme.
I firstly scrapped using these 3 patterns in the DSP pack (balloons, candles and numbers) and added some balloon embellishments with my oval punches:

Then when I flipped these exact papers over, they all matched beautifully too! So, the above layout is for her album, and the below one for mine. The one below needn't be a birthday theme, but would suit any photos.

(Both these layouts are using Pear Pizzazz as the background colour, both photos taken at different times of the day, one with a flash, one without, hence the colour variance.)

New In-Colours Scrap Layout

I just love Stampin' Up's new In-Colours recently released and here I have created a layout using all of them (plus Pool Party as my background). I have also used the new hostess stamp set 'A Cherry on Top' to create not only the cake stand, but also a little trick I found whilst googling, a very cute glass.

I thought this layout would suit either a birthday, baking or an adult party or theme, depending on what stamped image you use. It would suit a male or female page. You could also ditch the stamped image and just put a main photo in the middle and cropped photos around the edge, matted in the new In-Colours and change the theme completely.

A very versatile layout for lots of photos, or just a few.

Below, instead of the wine glass and the Summer Starfruit matting, I have changed the picture to a cake stand and used white matting.
