Revisiting Sycamore Street!

The Island Indigo patterned paper in this paper pack has always intrigued me, but up until now I wasn't quite sure what to do with it. I have cut along the pattern to give it it's own scallop pattern, embellished the layout with Stampin' Up! White Tea Lace Doilies and stamped using Hearts A Flutter.

Epic Day Scrapbook Layout

Epic Day Designer Series Paper has been out since September, but it has taken me until now to buy a pack. I'm not sure why but I'm glad I finally have.  I have created two layouts now with it and I'm really happy with both of them, yet they are both really quite different.

Here is the first layout I have created. I have a few (well 100's) of cricket photos to scrap, so I think I'm going to use this layout for my son's album. His baggy cap is green and gold, so I think the papers will match and add some vibrancy to the rest of his white garb. ;)

Honey Bee SWEET!

How cute is this little stamped honey bee? And then cut out with Stampin' Up's! new Hexagon punch. I tried to resist buying this punch, but soon found out I couldn't live without it.

I am going to run the title sideways on the 1st page, up beside the daffodil delight 5" x 7" matt, but this matt could also be turned around to become a landscape print and the heading run along the top.

I've also used the new In-Colour 'Baked Brown Sugar' for the 1st time on a layout, I think I might be using this a lot more in the future. :)

You Are My Sunshine! Scrapbook Layout

Isnt this the cutest stamp: You Are My Sunshine!

I created this layout with the intention of scrapping one of my babes out in the sunshine:

And then this is what I scrapped: A day out kayaking with friends at Murrays Beach. LOL.

It was a beautiful Autumn day last Easter holidays, so the sun just reminds me of just what a gorgeous day it was.

Soooo Much Scrapping!

I was inspired by Andrea Walford's Happy Birthday layout, I just love how simple the layout was, and loved how you could CRAM so many photos onto this page. And I have done it 3 times now, all in different papers and all with totally different themes!

'World Spectacular' Layout

Next fortnight's layout uses Stampin' Ups! new DSP World Spectacular. The papers are just gorgeous and this is the layout I came up with using three of the papers out of the pack. I've matched up the Scallop Circle punch and the Scallop Circle die with these papers.

I think I might scrap my son's soccer presentation photos.

Pre-School Layout

Well, this doesnt need to be a pre-school photo layout, but it's what originally inspired me. It has been made to suit the large photos that you get in your pre-school photo pack: the gorgeous portrait photo on the 1st page and the class photo on the 2nd page, but the matting could be cut up to suit normal 6 x 4 photos of your littles ones doing craft, painting, playing at playgroup or just some bright photos of them being their cute-selves.

The white square can be used for a heading or a sub-title, maybe the name of the pre-school on the 1st page, and the name of their room or class in the second.

Another layout with lots of options.

Here it is made with Red:

I have also done an option with Pink:

SCRAP CLUB 2012

I am excited to have 11 ladies joining me for my second Scrap Club this year and with the new brochure coming out tomorrow, in goes my order for Scrap Club Round 1 2012!

We are going to be focusing on punches this time around and for Round 1 we are using the Bird Builder punch and co-ordinating it with papers from the new DSP Floral District.

Here is the layout I have made with my kit and I look forward to sharing it with everyone at our first Scrap Club.

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge #1 Submission!

Well, here is my first challenge. I think it looks a lot nicer in real life, or maybe my photography needs some help... As I'm an avid scrapper, rather than a card maker, you're sure to see most of my challenges turn into scrap layouts. The challenge was to use Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight with the Stampin' Up! stamp set 'A Slice of Life'. (I am waiting ever so patiently for my new buttons to arrive this week and I'll change my pale pink button to a Melon Mambo one!!) I hope you like it! Ive got some bday party plans for it!
Don't forget to check out what Rach and  Adele came up with this week!
