Sports Photo Layout

I created this layout for my son's Soccer Photos using the new stamp set from Stampin' Up! 'Great Sports'.  The stamp set has a number of options including netball, basketball, football, baseball and of course soccer.

Although I have used my son's professional soccer photos, you could still use it to create an action page with your 6 x 4 photos. And of course, colours are optional depending on your team colours.

Pre-School Layout

Well, this doesnt need to be a pre-school photo layout, but it's what originally inspired me. It has been made to suit the large photos that you get in your pre-school photo pack: the gorgeous portrait photo on the 1st page and the class photo on the 2nd page, but the matting could be cut up to suit normal 6 x 4 photos of your littles ones doing craft, painting, playing at playgroup or just some bright photos of them being their cute-selves.

The white square can be used for a heading or a sub-title, maybe the name of the pre-school on the 1st page, and the name of their room or class in the second.

Another layout with lots of options.

Here it is made with Red:

I have also done an option with Pink:

New In-Colours Scrap Layout

I just love Stampin' Up's new In-Colours recently released and here I have created a layout using all of them (plus Pool Party as my background). I have also used the new hostess stamp set 'A Cherry on Top' to create not only the cake stand, but also a little trick I found whilst googling, a very cute glass.

I thought this layout would suit either a birthday, baking or an adult party or theme, depending on what stamped image you use. It would suit a male or female page. You could also ditch the stamped image and just put a main photo in the middle and cropped photos around the edge, matted in the new In-Colours and change the theme completely.

A very versatile layout for lots of photos, or just a few.

Below, instead of the wine glass and the Summer Starfruit matting, I have changed the picture to a cake stand and used white matting.

SCRAP CLUB 2012

I am excited to have 11 ladies joining me for my second Scrap Club this year and with the new brochure coming out tomorrow, in goes my order for Scrap Club Round 1 2012!

We are going to be focusing on punches this time around and for Round 1 we are using the Bird Builder punch and co-ordinating it with papers from the new DSP Floral District.

Here is the layout I have made with my kit and I look forward to sharing it with everyone at our first Scrap Club.

Tissue Box Bird House

Thanks for the loads of help from my Dad, who made me this cute craftwood bird house/tissue box!! Isn't it sweet?  He also helped me cut out the paper template one Friday night using the new Stampin' Up! papers 'Floral District'.
It's ultra cute, but I don't think hubby is real impressed that it has a new home in the kitchen! I did try to colour co-ordinate it. lol.
All I need now is to give it a matt laquer and it's all finished, then start on my next order 'a princess' tissue box... Hmmm bet you can't guess who placed that order?

Making this took my back to Country Crafts my Mum used to do. Does anyone remember covering boxes and photo frames with padded material. LOL

Up, Up and Away!

I found this little fence die at the Newcastle Craft Show last week and couldn't wait to use it on a layout.
I am slowly 're-scrapping' (lol) my son's baby album (he is now 9!) and thought this scene layout would suit his 'first steps' photos. The patterned papers I have used are from the 2012 Saleabration papers 'Everyday Enchantment' which I am STILL addicted to and am still finding lots of lovely uses for it.
Here is the layout pre-photos:

Berry Blossoms Scrapbook Layout

It has taken me til the end of the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! catalogue to try my hand at this paper pack 'Berry Blossoms' (and I was lucky Rach had a pack that I could nab one day when I realised I needed it!). Initially I wasnt so keen on the colours, but as the In-Colours started to grow on me, so did this paper pack.

I have made a boy & girl layout, using the same sketch, but with different colours.

Here is the girls version 'sweet':

And the boy version 'explore':
