Up, Up and Away!

I found this little fence die at the Newcastle Craft Show last week and couldn't wait to use it on a layout.
I am slowly 're-scrapping' (lol) my son's baby album (he is now 9!) and thought this scene layout would suit his 'first steps' photos. The patterned papers I have used are from the 2012 Saleabration papers 'Everyday Enchantment' which I am STILL addicted to and am still finding lots of lovely uses for it.
Here is the layout pre-photos:

Baby Prints - Workshop 7th June 2012

This new Stampin' Up! stamp set called "Baby Prints" was a must have for my collection. I love it, it is so cute and after showing the ladies they have come up with lots of different ideas for using it... beach footprints, pre-school handprints just to name a couple.

Anyway, this is the layout we will be doing at next fortnight's workshop. There are plenty of ideas floating around as well. I have named mine 'First Days' and 'First Steps', but how about 'Hospital Visitors', '3 months, 4 months...' 'First Solids', 'First Haircut', 'First Teeth', there are lots of different stages and milestones to be scrapped.

Here is the layout, both in the pink and blue pages.

Looking forward to sharing all those gorgeous baby photos!

Same layout: different colours & different stamps. Which one will you choose?

I have made the same layout and just changed the colours and stamp sets to give each one a different theme.
I have been looking forward to using all of these stamp sets in a layout and I am really happy with the colours I chose as well. I havent used any patterned paper, just stamps and a bit of sparkly spritz to jazz the papers up.

Here is my layout using Stampin' Ups! 'Pretty Princess' stamp set (the frog is sooo cute!):

Sorry, my close up is terrible:

I have turned the same layout into a boys layout. I have used the 'Lots of Bots' stamp set and I have also used 'Need for Speed' as a second option. I havent titled it yet, but think I might use this layout for our trip to Bathurst to the car races (so the cool red car from 'Need for Speed' might just be the winner!)

Here it is done with 'Lots of Bots':

And a close up (again not very good!):

Here is the layout with the 'Need for Speed' stamp option. It has a choice of a boat, car, plane or quad bike.

Here are all the stamps in 'Need for Speed':

Which option will you choose?

Cheaper Than Therapy Submission # 18

For this layout I have gone with a Christmas theme. I have chosen Stampin' Up's! new Christmas DSP papers "Letters To Santa" and used the new Stockings Punch to create a border of stockings hanging from the mantle. So cute and this punch is so versatile, wait til I show you the hobby horse birthday card I have made with it as well (cased from Gemma Graham). This punch and the co-ordinating stamp set will be available to purchase in Stampin' Up's! Summer Mini Catalogue, being released on the 1st December 2011.
Anyway, back to this week's submission, here is a reminder of the layout:
And here is my layout, I turned it into a double page as 4 photos just don't cut it for Christmas day!
Hope you like it:

Ok, couldn't help but add my cute birthday card. I have used the stocking punch and the Christmas DSP, so this makes even the Chrissy paper just as versatile as the punch. I've just spotted another cute card using the punch, I might just have to have a play with that one too. (Have I made you realise how 'necessary' this punch is yet? lol)

Stamp Club # 2, 27th October 2011

Stamp Club # 2 is just around the corner and I thought I would publish photos of the layout we will be doing. We will be using Stampin' Up's new DSP Nursery Nest and the pennant stamp from the very versatile stamp set Party This Way.

Here is the layout we will be doing - girly version first:

and here is the boy version I have done for my son:

I didn't have a 5" x 7" photo of him, so I have changed the photo layout a little from the original layout.
See you at 7.30pm next Thursday girls!

Cheaper Than Therapy Submission # 15

Just a reminder that this week's challenge was to use the new Big Top DSP paper, a sketch from Inspired Blueprints and Stampin' Up's new Pennant Punch.
And yes, I managed to get Book Week scrapped for THIS year. How exciting. I used the real red & whisper white patterned papers from the Big Top DSP and added Marina Mist (yep it's my current fav!) and Wild Wasabi to the mix. I'm really happy with it.

So, that's Ben's Book Week pages done, now onto Mikaedy's...
Don't forget to see what Adele and Rachael came up with this week.

Cheaper Than Therapy # 6 Submission

I LOVE THIS LAYOUT!
I used the real red & white hibiscus print from Pink Flamingo DSP. A paper I have never used, so I was delighted with what I came up with. My Thursday workshop did this layout as well last week and the results were just beautiful. The hearts were from a template my Dad made me years ago when I first got into scrapping and it was another thing I hadnt used - gosh what was I thinking! I even brayered one of the hearts in old olive, another technique Ive only just started using.  Adele and Rach, what did you create this week?
