'I Am Me' Scrapbook Layout

I loved this paper the moment I saw it in the catalogue. I love the colours and the prints. Here is the layout I have put together using the camera print and the Filmstrip stamp.

Oh and I used Washi Tape for the first time! Yep, it's only a small addition, but it's so easy and adds a nice extra element to the page.

SCRAP CLUB Round 2: Tools & Techniques

Scrap Club Round 2 Tools & Techniques brings us the Stampin' Up Stampin' Around Wheel. I have chosen the Gingham wheel for the kit as I think it is very versatile for card and scrapbook layouts and matches the gorgeous new DSP 'Gingham Garden', also included in the kit.

Here is the layout I have designed using the Stampin' Around Wheel and Gingham Garden papers:

And here is a card I have created also utilising the wheel.

Birthday Basics DSP = A Perfect Layout For An 8 Year Old's Birthday

As always I had HEAPS of photos to scrap for my daughter's 8th birthday and the new Birthday Basics DSP was the perfect paper to suit the theme.
I firstly scrapped using these 3 patterns in the DSP pack (balloons, candles and numbers) and added some balloon embellishments with my oval punches:

Then when I flipped these exact papers over, they all matched beautifully too! So, the above layout is for her album, and the below one for mine. The one below needn't be a birthday theme, but would suit any photos.

(Both these layouts are using Pear Pizzazz as the background colour, both photos taken at different times of the day, one with a flash, one without, hence the colour variance.)

You Are My Sunshine! Scrapbook Layout

Isnt this the cutest stamp: You Are My Sunshine!

I created this layout with the intention of scrapping one of my babes out in the sunshine:

And then this is what I scrapped: A day out kayaking with friends at Murrays Beach. LOL.

It was a beautiful Autumn day last Easter holidays, so the sun just reminds me of just what a gorgeous day it was.

SCRAP CLUB Round 1: Soho Subway Meets Simply Pressed Clay!

Scrap Club this year is 'Tools N Techniques' and when the new catalogue came out I couldn't wait to try the new Simply Pressed Clay.

So, the first round of Scrap Club had to include the this moulding clay, the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Moulds and a re-inker.

I've had a few days to play with it and have come up with the following layout using the new Soho Subway DSP.

Here is my layout, Mother's Day Picnic this year. We had such a lovely day. Shame my photography wasn't great, but still lots of awesome memories to treasure.

And a little sneaky close-up of the buttons & blossoms we will be making.

Modern Melody Layout 2

This is my distressed layout, very different from the layout I posted yesterday, but using the same paper pack Modern Melody.

I love the crumpled distressed look and think it really suits a boy layout. What I really LOVE about this layout, is it is so easy to match it to your photos by just changing the background 12 x 12 colour. I have used Cherry Cobbler here, but any colour would be fine. Turn the newspaper print DSP over and it is a black background with a vanilla polka dot, making the layout even more versatile.

So, here finally, is Ben's 2012 Book Week photos scrapped. DONE!

Modern Melody Layout 1

So, I was a little chuffed I received a bundle from Stampin' Up!'s new catalogue this week and it has already led me to getting two layouts done. The goodies included the new DSP Modern Melody, Happy Day stamp set and some cute little Essential Hardware Clips.

My first layout is rather clean-cut and bold and the other very different, ripped and distressed, both using papers from Modern Melody. I've used similar colours, but using different techniques makes these pages so, so different.

I am going to post the first layout I made today, then will post the other tomorrow.

Oh, and I finally embossed! Wahooo!! Something I've been meaning to add to my scrapping for yonks!

Here is a close-up:

I've used the layout for my daughter's 6" x 8" physie photos, but as you can see on the top layout, the layout will allow lots of photos.
