'All Is Calm' Scrapbooking Layout

We are SUMMER people here! We are not ones for SNOW, nor the cold, so we whinge all the way through winter in this house. That being the case, I don't have very many wintery photos to scrap. When I saw the 'All Is Calm' DSP from Stampin' Up! though I knew I had to get it. It is just so pretty and the colour Lost Lagoon was new to my collection too. So this is the layout I came up with. And after making it, I found some photos my daughter had taken of me all rugged up in a white jacket and white beanie snuggling with our white Poodle. Perfect!

The idea is to cut the photos out using the next size down circle (using the Circle Collection dies) and stick them on the solid coloured cardstock . I have also embellished the page with sequins and snowflakes. A great layout for skiing, snow fun, a winter Christmas or ice-skating.

'I Am Me' Scrapbook Layout

I loved this paper the moment I saw it in the catalogue. I love the colours and the prints. Here is the layout I have put together using the camera print and the Filmstrip stamp.

Oh and I used Washi Tape for the first time! Yep, it's only a small addition, but it's so easy and adds a nice extra element to the page.

Soooo Much Scrapping!

I was inspired by Andrea Walford's Happy Birthday layout, I just love how simple the layout was, and loved how you could CRAM so many photos onto this page. And I have done it 3 times now, all in different papers and all with totally different themes!

Just Boy Stuff

I bought 'Frightful Sight'. YUP! When Stampin' Ups! catalogue came out last September, it was the LAST designer series paper pack I was planning on buying. But now I have it, I really love it.

Here is my first layout I made with it (and I have to tell you I CASEd a very cool card layout from Carolyn Bennie and used it as an embellishment on my page. When I saw what she did, I just loved it and made the layout around it.

Im not one for distressing, but now I've completed the page, I wish I'd distressed the paper even more.

This layout would suit halloween, nature, picnic, camping, playing in the garden, at the park, there are heaps of ways to use it.

P.S. I think I've talked hubby into a new camera for my birthday... Only 4 months to wait!

Same layout: different colours & different stamps. Which one will you choose?

I have made the same layout and just changed the colours and stamp sets to give each one a different theme.
I have been looking forward to using all of these stamp sets in a layout and I am really happy with the colours I chose as well. I havent used any patterned paper, just stamps and a bit of sparkly spritz to jazz the papers up.

Here is my layout using Stampin' Ups! 'Pretty Princess' stamp set (the frog is sooo cute!):

Sorry, my close up is terrible:

I have turned the same layout into a boys layout. I have used the 'Lots of Bots' stamp set and I have also used 'Need for Speed' as a second option. I havent titled it yet, but think I might use this layout for our trip to Bathurst to the car races (so the cool red car from 'Need for Speed' might just be the winner!)

Here it is done with 'Lots of Bots':

And a close up (again not very good!):

Here is the layout with the 'Need for Speed' stamp option. It has a choice of a boat, car, plane or quad bike.

Here are all the stamps in 'Need for Speed':

Which option will you choose?
