'Dear Santa' Scrapbook Layout

Im not normally one to do Christmas in July, but for my next workshop, we will be scrapping our Christmas photos. I have created this one to scrap Christmas morning photos, but it could be used to scrap a Santa photo or a school Christmas concert.

I love Santa falling down the chimney. This image has been created using punches and my husband's sketching ability for Santa's sack. There is lots of daubering to give the image shading and definition. It should be fun to create! Oh and not to forget the Envelope Board Punch to create our letter to Santa.

Honey Bee SWEET!

How cute is this little stamped honey bee? And then cut out with Stampin' Up's! new Hexagon punch. I tried to resist buying this punch, but soon found out I couldn't live without it.

I am going to run the title sideways on the 1st page, up beside the daffodil delight 5" x 7" matt, but this matt could also be turned around to become a landscape print and the heading run along the top.

I've also used the new In-Colour 'Baked Brown Sugar' for the 1st time on a layout, I think I might be using this a lot more in the future. :)

Scrap Club # 6

This is the last Scrap Club for this series. I hope everyone is enjoying their Punches and Scrapping Kits and getting plenty of use out of them.

For this kit, I have chosen the Elegant Butterfly Punch and mixed it with some Neutrals, First Edition DSP and a couple of Subtle colours. I'm really happy with the layout I created, so I decided to use a different set of colours that came with the kit and came up with a 2nd layout.

Hope you like!

Meet Spike!

Meet the newest member of our family 'Spike'! He is a Toy Poodle and a very cute little man.
So of course he needed a page of his own.

I have used DSP Well Worn, combined with Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso. The paws are made using the medium circle from the owl punch and the small heart from Bigz Die ''Hearts & Brackets".

I'm sure you will see lots more pages of this cute little man.

Monday's Workshop

I call this my Holly Hobby page. The colours remind me so much of Holly Hobby from when I was a little girl.

This is the layout we will be doing on Monday. There is a bit of free-hand drawing in it and lots of stippling, but it should be fun for something a little different.

I've used Spice Cake DSP, another pack I love!

Cheaper Than Therapy Submission # 18

For this layout I have gone with a Christmas theme. I have chosen Stampin' Up's! new Christmas DSP papers "Letters To Santa" and used the new Stockings Punch to create a border of stockings hanging from the mantle. So cute and this punch is so versatile, wait til I show you the hobby horse birthday card I have made with it as well (cased from Gemma Graham). This punch and the co-ordinating stamp set will be available to purchase in Stampin' Up's! Summer Mini Catalogue, being released on the 1st December 2011.
Anyway, back to this week's submission, here is a reminder of the layout:
And here is my layout, I turned it into a double page as 4 photos just don't cut it for Christmas day!
Hope you like it:

Ok, couldn't help but add my cute birthday card. I have used the stocking punch and the Christmas DSP, so this makes even the Chrissy paper just as versatile as the punch. I've just spotted another cute card using the punch, I might just have to have a play with that one too. (Have I made you realise how 'necessary' this punch is yet? lol)

Cheaper Than Therapy Submission # 16

Just a reminder that the challenge for this week was to re-visit Challenge # 11's layout and this time use Stampin' Up's current DSP 'Well Worn'. Lucky that I just love this layout and now I can't wait to add my photos, title and journal to finish it off. I was thinking the Reptile Park, but I can also see it with Oakvale Farm, Fathers Day or using vintage photos. Maybe cowboy or cowgirl dress-ups even??? Anyway here it is, I hope you like it too.

Don't forget to drop by at Rachael and Adele's blogs to see what they came up with.

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenges # 7 Submission

I am so enjoying these challenges. I love the fact they are making me do layouts that are so different to my usual. Here was the sketch we had to follow, along with the Stampin' Up! colours Real Red, Pacific Point, Pear Pizazz and Early Espresso:

Here is my submission:
