Rich Razzleberry Scrapbook layout

I love this colour combo: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Crumb Cake & Whisper White. It's soft, bright and warm all at once (assuming that's possible).

Here is the layout I have put together for my next workshop using these colours.

Crosses of Hope Scrapbook Layout

My daughter had her Confirmation a fortnight ago and after scrapping my son's Confirmation and Communion last year, I knew I needed Stampin' Up's! 'Crosses of Hope' stamp set before I even began to tackle her pages, so this stamp set was my latest purchase. I love how there are 3 crosses to choose from and they make card making for these events a breeze too.

Here is my layout:

The layout would suit Baptism, Confirmation or Communion.

Thursday Night Workshop 31st May 2012, 'Oakvale Farm'

The inspiration for this workshop is Oakvale Farm @ Bobs Farm. I tried to work with earthy colours and ended up with So Saffron, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip with a little Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy thrown in.

I wanted the layout to have lots of room for lots of photos and I hope I have accomplished this.

Just Boy Stuff

I bought 'Frightful Sight'. YUP! When Stampin' Ups! catalogue came out last September, it was the LAST designer series paper pack I was planning on buying. But now I have it, I really love it.

Here is my first layout I made with it (and I have to tell you I CASEd a very cool card layout from Carolyn Bennie and used it as an embellishment on my page. When I saw what she did, I just loved it and made the layout around it.

Im not one for distressing, but now I've completed the page, I wish I'd distressed the paper even more.

This layout would suit halloween, nature, picnic, camping, playing in the garden, at the park, there are heaps of ways to use it.

P.S. I think I've talked hubby into a new camera for my birthday... Only 4 months to wait!

Wedding Layout

I have had a couple of requests for a wedding layout, so when I came across a card made by Kirsty Brown (http://www.kirstyscardnscrap.wordpress.com/), I had to CASE it and turn it into a scrapbook layout. I have a little hole, which I just cant decide what to fill it with (maybe some journelling), but thought I'd share it anyhow.

Here is a close up of the detail (and oh yes, the hole!).

I havent looked at my wedding photos since we received them back from the photographer, 12 years ago. WOW! It was a little emotional.

Anyway, I have another layout I want to do with a pretty little wedding dress in it. Hope it doesnt take me 12 years to complete that one.

Cheaper Than Therapy Submission # 18

For this layout I have gone with a Christmas theme. I have chosen Stampin' Up's! new Christmas DSP papers "Letters To Santa" and used the new Stockings Punch to create a border of stockings hanging from the mantle. So cute and this punch is so versatile, wait til I show you the hobby horse birthday card I have made with it as well (cased from Gemma Graham). This punch and the co-ordinating stamp set will be available to purchase in Stampin' Up's! Summer Mini Catalogue, being released on the 1st December 2011.
Anyway, back to this week's submission, here is a reminder of the layout:
And here is my layout, I turned it into a double page as 4 photos just don't cut it for Christmas day!
Hope you like it:

Ok, couldn't help but add my cute birthday card. I have used the stocking punch and the Christmas DSP, so this makes even the Chrissy paper just as versatile as the punch. I've just spotted another cute card using the punch, I might just have to have a play with that one too. (Have I made you realise how 'necessary' this punch is yet? lol)

Don't forget to blog-hop over to Rachael
and Adele's blogs to see what they came up with this week for challenge # 18.

Cheaper Than Therapy # 6 Submission

I LOVE THIS LAYOUT!
I used the real red & white hibiscus print from Pink Flamingo DSP. A paper I have never used, so I was delighted with what I came up with. My Thursday workshop did this layout as well last week and the results were just beautiful. The hearts were from a template my Dad made me years ago when I first got into scrapping and it was another thing I hadnt used - gosh what was I thinking! I even brayered one of the hearts in old olive, another technique Ive only just started using.  Adele and Rach, what did you create this week?

Cheaper Than Therapy No. 2 Submission!

Well, I have to confess I just can't use Tempting Turquoise with the 'Playdate' papers. The turquoise in the papers is very subtle, so sorry gals, but I had to use Bashful Blue on the page, but I think it looks ok... I'm struggling with a heading, so it remains untitled. Other than that, with the papers I had, I'm really happy with the end result.
I can't wait to check out Adele and Rachael's submissions this week to see what they came up with!
