Scrap Club 5

As always, I'm loving the papers in the new mini Catalogue. I have chosen Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP from that cattie for Scrap Club # 5. I think it's got some great papers for bright layouts and some lovely subtle pages as well.

 

I have chosen the BRIGHTS in this pack to make my layout.  As we are nearly at the end of our Aussie Summer, I'm sure most of us will have some beach or pool photos to scrap. The layout could even suit a bath layout, or change the wave DSP and change the water theme altogether.

 

Isn't Mr Whaley just ohhhh so cute! He is also a Sizzix Clearlit in the new catalogue called 'Happy Whale'.

 

I have used the punches: Border Scallop, 2 1/2" Circle Punch and the Pennant Punch to help create this layout.

 

I just love how bright and fresh it is. Oh and Mr Spike got another look-in for this layout. These photos were taken when Chris and the kids first went in the pool just after we got him. He sniffed around for ages on the edge, then 'ploop', in he went. And he wasnt too phased either.

Soooo Much Scrapping!

I was inspired by Andrea Walford's Happy Birthday layout, I just love how simple the layout was, and loved how you could CRAM so many photos onto this page. And I have done it 3 times now, all in different papers and all with totally different themes!

Mikaedy's 7th Birthday

I have already scrapped her birthday for her album, but needed to scrap it for my album. I had lots of photos I wanted to use but wanted to keep it condensed to just a double page, rather than 4 pages, so this is the layout I made. I love a collage and fitting the photos like a jigsaw!

I've embossed the white banner to give it some lift on the page and used papers from Sweet Stitches DSP.

Meet Spike!

Meet the newest member of our family 'Spike'! He is a Toy Poodle and a very cute little man.

So of course he needed a page of his own.

 

I have used DSP Well Worn, combined with Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso. The paws are made using the medium circle from the owl punch and the small heart from Bigz Die ''Hearts & Brackets".

I'm sure you will see lots more pages of this cute little man.

Scrap Club 4

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone has had a relaxing break.

There is nothing more fitting to come back to, then scrapping your Santa photo on the first scrap back. I love to get it scrapped and finish off the year's album.

 

In this Stamp Club, I have incorporated the Merry Mini's punches and used the bauble decoration to decorate this page, along with the DSP 'Be of Good Cheer'.

 

The layout will take two 6" x 8" photos (as per my layout), or it will also take four 4" x 6" landscape photos, if you don't have a professional Santa photo to scrap.

 

Looking forward to starting the scrapping year again with you all.

Presto Patterns Layout

With three packets of Presto Patterns DSP to my name, I really needed to do something with it, but was totally stumped.  The idea of the paper already embossed sounded wonderful, but it wasnt until I was inspired by a layout by Delys Cram that I really got excited.

Here it is, and what I love about this layout, is you could add any colour to it and match it perfectly to any photos.

I have chosen Old Olive for this layout, but Im going to give it a go also in a dark blue, maybe the new Midnight Muse.

Scrap Club 3

WOW, we are humming along in Scrap Club, this is our 3rd meet, with only another 3 to go after this one.
Scrap Club 3 is centered around the gorgeous Stampin' Up! patterned papers 'Summer Smooches', perfect for this time of year. The paper has lots of bright colours in it, and I have chosen the Blossom punch to go along with it.
