Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge

My two fellow Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator friends (Rachael Raccani-Hewitt  http://www.litlrach.blogspot.com/ and Adele Smith http://www.adele-smith.blogspot.com/) and I have decided to post a challenge each week to encourage us to experiment with new colour combinations and Stampin’ Up! ® products we may not have used yet! We will post a new challenge each week, and then put photos on our blogs a week later to show you what we came up with! We have decided to call it “Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge” because we believe our crafting keeps us sane by giving us time out from our hectic lives; and although our husbands might complain about us spending money on our love of craft, we firmly maintain “IT’S CHEAPER THAN THERAPY!”
This week's challenge is a colour AND stamp set challenge. We are using Stampin' Up! ®‘s colours: Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, and Melon Mambo; paired up with the lovely new Level 1 Hostess Stamp Set 'A Slice of Life' (from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue). Make sure you come back next week to see what Rach, Adele and I each come up with; and why not have a go at the challenge yourself!

Welcome to my blog!

I am here because my Scrapping Besties all created blogs this week. Thanks Rach n Adele! ;-)  I hope to be able to keep my blog up to date for my current scrapping friends, share workshop dates with you and yes, share a  challenge or two and a blog hop! The thought of it all is rather scary, but I'm sure with the support of Rach n Adele, it can be achieved.
Here is a pic of my landscape layout, which I am doing this week with my girls at this Thursday night's  workshop, using Stampin' Ups wonderful cardstock, punches and dies.
And here is the link to my scrap besties blog pages http://www.litlrach.blogspot.com/ and http://www.adele-smith.blogspot.com/ who inspired me to get blogging too.
