L@@K at what my MUM made!

This has been a long work in progress, but when Mum suggested last year she would like to make my daughter a quilt, I had just been to my first Stampin' Up! Regionals in Sydney and had watched the Stampin' Up! staff and demonstrators WOW me with the new Stampin' Up Designer Fabric. So, of course, it had to be included in her quilt.

Here it is, using the 'Flirtatious' Designer Fabric, amongst other fabrics. We also cut out butterflies using the Big Shot Die 'Beautiful Butterflies'.

Didn't she do a great job!! Thanks Mum. xx

I made Mikaedy a picture to go on her wall to match the quilt, of course made out of Flirtatious DSP and using the Beautiful Butterfly die again.  I also got out my beads and beaded the body and antennae of the butterflies.

Baby Prints - Workshop 7th June 2012

This new Stampin' Up! stamp set called "Baby Prints" was a must have for my collection. I love it, it is so cute and after showing the ladies they have come up with lots of different ideas for using it... beach footprints, pre-school handprints just to name a couple.

Anyway, this is the layout we will be doing at next fortnight's workshop. There are plenty of ideas floating around as well. I have named mine 'First Days' and 'First Steps', but how about 'Hospital Visitors', '3 months, 4 months...' 'First Solids', 'First Haircut', 'First Teeth', there are lots of different stages and milestones to be scrapped.

Here is the layout, both in the pink and blue pages.

Looking forward to sharing all those gorgeous baby photos!

Wednesday DAY Workshop 'Christmas Elves' 30th May

Such a cute layout and lots of room for plenty of Christmas photos.
I originally had it in mind for scrapping a pre-school Christmas Concert, something I have always taken plenty of photos of, but never scrapped, but it would suit anything Christmas!
Can't wait to share those little elf shoes with you on Wednesday ladies. xx

Thursday Night Workshop 31st May 2012, 'Oakvale Farm'

The inspiration for this workshop is Oakvale Farm @ Bobs Farm. I tried to work with earthy colours and ended up with So Saffron, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip with a little Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy thrown in.

I wanted the layout to have lots of room for lots of photos and I hope I have accomplished this.

Workshop Layout, Thursday 24th May 2012

Hi ladies, here is the layout you have chosen for next fortnight's class.
It was inspired by a sketch by Becky Fleck.

I think I am going to scrapbook the picnic we had on Mother's Day, but really the layout is another one that is open to lots of different themes. Outdoors comes to mind first, a park, camping, outback holiday, or just use the colours to match your photos.

The colours are Stampin' Up's very own Soft Suede, Pear Pizazz, Very Vanilla and River Rock.

I have made room for three trimmed 6" x 4" and two photos trimmed to 3 1/2" x 2 1/4", but as you know, we can adjust to suit.

Looking forward to doing this layout with you.

Update 22 May: LOOK! I have actually got photos on mine. Yippee! Another page complete.
Just thought I'd post it ladies, to show you what I've done.
